Me – all about me!!

How to describe ‘me’, mmm well I think the first thing to notice is that am NOT normal.  Thought I was normal until started realising how abnormal everyone else seems to be.  People are weird, mostly they don’t think like me, or act like me, so whereas previously under the impression that am normal have had to have serious rethink.

Rethink process went something like this.  What is normal is determined by majority!  So if have met very few ‘normal’ people and loads of weird, odd, freaky people must follow that previously mentioned weird, odd, freaky people are in the majority and therefore by default normal.  Thus am left in minority group of freaks.

So is me who is abnormal freak!

Is only to be expected I suppose. Am from an unbroken home and have only happy childhood memories.  Parents still happily married after millions of years and still like doing things together.  Have been taught to work hard and do right thing, and to stand on own two feet.  How can anyone expect to turn out normal after being brought up like that.  Is ridiculous!  Have a younger brother and sister who are both equally scarred.  Any day either one of them could snap and call up Jerry Springer or Jeremy Kyle tv show and could all be hauled up and made to face facts in front of millions.

Naturally was huge shock when own marriage ended in divorce.  Was left with three adorable young children, Olivia (6), Beatrice (4) and Jack (2), in foreign country (USA).  Decided best thing to do was head for family who are now living in Spain, having left England due to majorly faulty weather that no-one seems to be able to fix.  Children changed from homeschooling (well eldest anyway) to public school in foreign language.

Through hard work (blame parents again for that) set up own business and bought very own lovely home.  All went well for several years until school issues arose.  Jack went from being in top few of his class to failing every subject in 2 years.  Was quite spectacular downward slide and is to be commended for his commitment to creating dramatic effect. Olivia also suffered with some quite shocking bullying which spiraled out of control.  Desperate times call for desperate measures so after major discussions with children’s father life changing decisions were made.  We packed up and went back to the States and began home schooling again.  We moved back in with childrens father and began this latest chapter.

Unusual? Yes, but to be fair, did warn of freak status at the very beginning so no good saying anything now!
